HP Slate 500


COMPETITORS iPad increase again with the entry of Hewlett-Packard Slate tablet 500 in the computer market is growing. Series that brings the operating system Windows 7 Phone and 8.9-inch screen size.

Microsoft Chief Executive Officer Steve Ballmer has showcased a prototype Slate 500 in January 2010. However, its launch was just done today or six months after the iPad was released.

As quoted from wsj.com, Slate 500 is a target market of businessmen and employees who are already accustomed to working with Windows and has a high mobility and productivity. Unlike the iPad has only one camera, Slate comes with two cameras.

Currently, the device is equipped with storage capacity of 64 Gigabytes, touch screen and stylus pen. Slate also supports Internet access via wifi, but not integrated with high-speed cellular networks. Shipping the product is expected to begin in mid-November.
